Mr. Grant is not only one of the best teachers I have ever had, but THE best teacher I have ever had. I always hated school (particularly math) and never wanted to work hard to earn good grades, or even cared about my grades for that matter... I had this mindset that I wasn't good enough or couldn't do it. He taught me how to use my imagination, think outside the box, go beyond average, and be motivated. He cared for every one of his students, and would do anything for them. Even after I had graduated from high school, and went on to college, I resorted back to my notes from his class, and he never once hesitated to show his support or offer his help when I found myself struggling in school ! He has the best intentions for his students, and I don't know where I would be today if I hadn't taken his class! I owe him for the impact he has made in my life thus far, and for my future to come! I went from a high school student who barely passed anything to a college honor student getting A's and B's aiming for a PhD in science. Firing him was a huge mistake on AAEC's behalf! We need teachers like him. Teachers like him, give students like me a purpose in life!

Grant was the only teacher that made math fun for me ever. He was just straight out amazing. I wish he could come back.

Only reason I could pass my last high school math class was from his imaginative teaching style and strict class rules. Don't let students that struggled like me miss out on a teacher that gives them the attention they deserve.

Mr.Grant had ADHD just like I do, He understood some of the things I did like fidgeting and constantly moving because he does the same thing. He taught math in ways that made it easy for me to understand. He simplified math by teaching us simple concepts that we would have normally have only learned in Algebra 3/4, or Pre-Calculus. He actually taught us how to use the calculator, other teachers just say you can use a calculator but we didn't know how to use all the features. Mr.Grant was an amazing teacher. We need him back!

Grant was only doing his job. He took away the student's phone because they were on it in class. He's also not dangerous or a threat to anyone's safety! So him being fired..it's just ridiculous! Bring him back, please, please, please!

Mr. Grant was one of the best math teachers I had even if I only had him for 2 months before I got switched to Mr. Hartley in freshman year. We've been switched around with teachers so much, there's no reason to switch out another perfectly good teacher.

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Mr. Grant "the teacher"? I thought not. It's not a story the AAEC Administration would tell you. It's a Student legend. Mr. Grant was a Great Teacher of the Math, so powerful and so wise he could use He's teachings to influence the Students to graduate... He had such a knowledge of the Mathematical formulas that he could even keep the ones he cared about from failing. The Math side of Teaching is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Fortunately, he taught all of his apprentices everything he knew, then The administration fired him in his sleep. It's ironic he could save others from being kicked out of school, but not himself.

I'm not sure where to start . Grant was an amazing teacher and i don't care if the princaples are saying that he's not here anymore because they have our education and well being in their "best interest " like honestly I really don't think they do because everyone loved grant he was extreamly down to earth. He could make any student laugh which not every teacher had the ability to do . He was extreamly sarcastic and he always had the best intentions for us to succeed as we are growing into adults. Grant truly does deserve to teach this job and shouldn't have had to go through what he's going through and what the students are going through because of administration. It's actually insane like i witnessed 3 classmates actually cry when Eberwine and Madison started talking about him and how he was no longer teaching at aaec .
It's not fair to the students or him . Give grant HIS job back.

Without Mr. Grant I would not have graduated highschool. He taught me what no one else could in the 4 years of charter school education I went through, and I owe him an immesureable debt. The man is intelligent beyond the subjects of math and physics and deserves to be recognized as a positive influence in the lives of countless students and graduates. The idea that he could be dismissed over something so petty is saddening to say the very least, and reflects extremely poor upon the school district.
