We absolutely should be reinstating the mask mandate. This variant is far to contagious not to. It is not right to put teachers and students in danger.

It is amazing that there is not mask mandate for the schools given the data that is available on the rise in case, and the efficacy of masks in reducing the transmission of the virus. It appears that there is a general disregard of the science of how viruses spread. Even before COVID, our kids were typically our vectors for Flu and strep. Why would COVID be any different?

Masks work, especially in a highly contagious viral surge. It is unconscionable that the school is not doing everything possible to mitigate spread and rising case numbers.

Ridiculous at this point that the Board has not reinstated the mask mandate while inside school buildings. They should be following recommendations of OCHD and every medical institution.
