I ordered the banned books. Didn’t God place a rainbow in the sky as a sign of His covenant!

I was a graduating senior of 23’ and was also heavily affected by bigotry and prejudice from day one at Sterling. I am gay. I am exciting. The town of Sterling did not care for me. Now being out, I can actually process the years of “shoving gays under a rug” and want to show my support for both librarians. I commend them and respect them for standing up for what is right.

Libraries are to be a place one could go to find out about or look up information or just enjoy a favorite authors books and much more.

Librarians are stewards of our shared history and culture. Thank goodness for these two librarians for standing up to bigotry and hatred.

Libraries aren't supposed to censor...even ones in small elitist towns like Sterling.

This is completely unjustifiable for a library that receives government funding. Please, board, rectify this and do better.

Power without limits is fascism, not to mention firing two females on staff is considered sexual discrimination (lawsuits coming soon).

Stop the bigotry, no one should be fired over these insane book bans.

What was done to them was an egregious use of power. These librarians just did their job according to the ALA. They need to be reinstated.

Denying access to books is ridiculous. If you don't like it, don't read it. Libraries should be a place of a wide range of thoughts and ideas.

Culture wars are not the way to unite our country.
Do the right thing.
This is an embarrassment for Sterling.
