The job that librarians have is vital! I have only read great things about Kari and Brandy on posts regarding this conflict. Please give them back their jobs and let's grow as a community from this.

This was a senseless act made by certain rash board members. Kari and Brandy's work for the library was well noted by all in the Sterling community. Not only should they be reinstated, the members of the board that voted to remove them should be removed themselves.

I support rainbows, be they neurodivergent, (which I am), or LGBTQIA, ( which beloved family members and esteemed friends are). I haven't seen the news video, I barely know anyone who has commented on the FB page, but the 2 ppl I know the most are the biggest reason I am signing this. They are trying to push their religious beliefs. I never had any problems with them in the past, worked for them quite a while. But I knew the second that I saw her name on a list of members. And her husband voicing his position the next day on the FB page pretty much confirmed that he was in on her decision.

I can’t believe how low some people in this town will go just because of a rainbow. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. Both of those ladies should have their jobs back ASAP. If you had a problem with the signs…Take it up with the state. That’s where the signs came from.

What an hurtful message the library sent to children by firing these employees. Libraries are supposed to be safe and inclusive spaces, and this is the exact opposite action of those values.

Stop The Hate Don't Discriminate Reinstate Kari Wheeler, and her assistant Brandy. Kari Wheeler would not mean to harm anyone she is an awesome person. As far as Brandy goes I don't know her but she has to be a great person inorder for Kari to work with her.

Kari Wheeler and Brandy Lancaster have always been so helpful when I have gone to the library. There should have been some discussion on this befroe they were fired. Surely there are laws on how this should have been habdeled?

Reinstate Kari and Brandy! Censorship from the hands of the conservative right has gone too far! Accept all individuals unless they preach hatred ❤️
Please reinstate our beloved librarians.
Libraries are for everyone!
