Kalib Steele's Reinstatement as a Resident Firefighter at Grand Fire Protection District

I do not know the conditions of Kalib's termination, however I would like to speak of the character traits I have witnessed. I have had the pleasure of knowing Kalib for approximately 1 1/2 years, I have witnessed his passion regarding his goal of becoming a fire fighter as well as his love of our community. I have entertained several of the residents of the program in my home and have interacted with them while on duty as well as off. I would ask that this event be examined to ensure there is no other way to address whatever situation is at hand. I would hate to see a fine young mans career tarnished due to anything that could have been handled differently.
Kalib has shown me the love for public service during the several events thy we worked together, while I worked as a Paramedic/Educator at Grand County EMS. He will be a great asset to reinstate to the fire department.
We all make mistakes, as long as we learn from them is what matters. I've watched my brother grow into something extraordinary, in a time in his life when there was no light. It will be a disappointment to the fire dept to watch him leave when his heart has so much too offer.
Kaleb is a great person and I think he would be a loss for the fire department and Granby.
Kalib is an amazing team player. He works very well under pressure. He handles every situation very thoughtful and could always find an exit out of toughest moments. (This petition is a great example). He is a role model, friend, and most important, true firefighter.
I know Kalib from outside of the fire department. From the time I've met him until now, I have always been incredibly impressed by his dedication and commitment to life as a fire fighter. I feel it would be a great shame if this fine young man doesn't get reinstated.
Kalib Steele is an outstanding young man. He is always very respectful and is very hardworking. He is dedicated to being an excellent firefighter. Kalib is a team player who looks out for and helps others

Kalib is one of the few young men that I know that has a lot of pride in his job. He is always thinking of how to make things better while continuing to stay positive and focused. He is hard working, driven & committed to the fire department. Kalib is an asset to this community and should be reinstated.
