BHSC Members' Call to Reinstate Jon Sarosiek and Samantha Strong

Unaware of issue but they have always been professional and genuinely nice in my presence.

Very disturbing to hear this news while we have frozen our membership until we feel comfortable working out indoors. Samantha and Jon are excellent in their positions at the club. Please reinstate!!!

I have never met this guy - Russ. But I do know that Sam and Jon - and all of the team working with them at BHSC are outstanding. Sam and Jon were the face and energy of the club. Major loss. ...there should be an independent review by outside firm to assure members that the club is well managed. And Jon and Sam should return or at minimum have their reputation of being fired for cause overturned.

Samantha was so professional and helpful when I was considering joining. Hope this gets resolved.

Reinstate Jon and Samantha, they are the hearts of the Boars Head Sports Club.

I know Samantha to be the finest representative of the Boar's Head Resort that I have encountered. I do not know the details , but can't adequately describe my dismay at her termination. RIDICULOUS

The firing of Jon and Samantha seems absolutely outrageous. I worked at BHSC with them as well as before they were hired. They are probably the best thing that ever happened to BHSC. They were truly all in for the members all of the time. They we’re so good that they inspired fellow employees to be better. Their enthusiasm for the club and the membership was infectious. I’m in shock.

Russ Cronberg, this is outrageous, you’ve fired to many good people. It’s now time for you to reconsider your hostile attitude.

As a Bhsc member for over 25 years and a member of the clubs advisory board we are outraged and shocked by the dismal of two outstanding employees. Each has been inservice to members during a most trying time. They in effect have led the club at a time when many members questioned continuing the value of club membership. R

I add my voice to those calling for reinstatement of Jon and Samantha. There is a pattern of behavior here that is unsupportable.

So, apparently we now have a precedent set that Russ can say whatever he pleases and employees, through fear of termination for “insubordination”, will stay silent. Brilliant.

Although we left the club as of September, this is a travesty and want to raise our voices to the inequities of this situation. Jon and Samantha have been the best, most dedicated forward thinking employees we have seen in years. Yay Boars Head community for speaking up and defending. Where is nbc 29, daily progress and Washington Post in this ongoing investigation? Maybe a rally in the making? We will attend as members of the Charlottesville community.

Yes, as a member, I demand an explanation from Russ. I would also like to hear from Jon and Samantha as well. I hope Jon and Samantha to speak out. Not many people has heard their voices.

Please explain to us why this happened. We obviously all support Jon and Samantha. Poor judgement from Russ and total shock to this amazing community.

We, as members, need more information about this incident. Jon and Samantha should be reinstated. There has been a legacy of mismanagement for the past 5 years, but this unqualified decision brings it to a head. Are there no checks and balances to the Foundation’s process? Too much power in the hands of few.

I would like to see Jon and Samantha back at BH. Both have always been very responsive to any questions I might have, and always greeted me with a smile and a friendly hello. They are hardworking and enthusiastic employees. The hospitality industry is going through tough times- employees like Jon and Samantha are great assets to BH Sports Club
