I feel strongly that Haji should be reinstated without delay. Haji has always been a fair and kind concierge whom one could always rely upon.

I've known Haji for over 10 years during which time he has been extremely friendly and helpful. His knowledge of the building and the service he provides has been outstanding. It is deeply disturbing that after 17 years of service, one moment of anger with a resident (which was not without provocation) would warrant his dismissal. It seems very over the top and the agendas of certain residents should not of influenced the way this was handled. He should be reinstated so he can continue to provide the excellent service he has always provided, and should be treated with the respect he deserves and shows us.

I used to live in the Lexington Building for a little bit more than a year, And I feel that it is important to support Haji. Haji is very professional and helpful; On top of that he is always very polite and welcoming.

As a former resident and frequent visitor to the Lexington subsequently I have found Haji to be highly professional and very helpful. I am perplexed by this incident as it is certainly not the Haji I know. 17 years of unblemished service deserves at least an attempt to find a middle ground. Haji, Ali and Lamin are an amazingly effective team.....please rethink

There is no way Haji should have been fired over this incident. Can the residents of the block please see the report of the incident? Stephen, Flat 12

Haji has always been extremely polite, helpful, trustworthy and very serious about ensuring our safety. I have witnessed on multiple occasions how helpful and honest he genuinely is and how respectfully he treats people. The treatment and sentence he received are a shame and he should be reinstated promptly, for our benefit as much as his.

Haji is a wonderful concierge, and I feel very strongly that he should return. I absolutely feel that he can be trusted to remain in his role, and I feel very safe when he is around.

I have known Haj for many years, and agree with many of the residents that he was always very helpful, curteous, and ensured our safety and security at all times. I find it difficult to understand how a single incident can result in the loss of his job after so many years of faithful, above-and-beyond service. I will help Haj however I can to clear his name.

Given the strength of feeling expressed here already , would it not seem sensible to at least explore a route to reinstatement with JAR (who presumably would open to direction from the company we are shareholders in ? ) . Such reconciliatory dialogue would appear the most efficient method of avoiding a drawn at and potentially expensive legal claim against the company and presumably ultimately the owners/us - win or lose ? Whilst it may require some comprise on both sides there doesn't seem to be any downside in this at this stage - views ?

I have a high regard for the professionalism, politeness and effectiveness of Haji in his work. and am appalled that something as serious as this could have reached this stage without the leaseholders being informed and consulted. It reflects badly on both the Lexington Management Committee and JAR. I assume that correct steps have been followed in accordance with a written disciplinary procedure.

I have known Haji Cham since moving to the Lex in 2000 and it is difficult to imagine how he could be in this situation. I have always found him polite, reliable and efficient in his duties. The suggestion that he cannot be trusted with the safety and security of leaseholders is risible. I, too, understand that some leaseholders do not treat the front desk staff with respect. Haji, however, remains dignified and professional (as do Alieu and Lamin). He should be reinstated.

Haji is a true professional that has always been extremely helpful to me on my visits to my friend. This does not sound fair after 17 years of service.
