Cutting this budget after this last winter's storms is particularly reckless.

Good luck getting to the 1,000 and keeping the survey live

Gathering scientific evidence for changes in populations, biodiversity and links to climate chnage should be at the core of the work of NRW. Sadly this does not seem to be the case.

Wales can be proud to be home to one of the longest running studies of wild birds in the world. Studies like this can reveal much about the wider environment. Please do not cut its funding.

I feel it is very short sighted to cut funding for this project.

This study has an important role informing marine conservation, which is supposed to be an area of government development.

Please reconsider the decision to stop funding the guillemot research on Skomer. This work is essential to our wider understanding of sea bird population changes. Birds are indicators for general ecological changes and a long term researcg program is the ideal way to accumulate information on trends.

Keep the funding for such an important project - it sends a negative message out about how NRW value their wildlife montioring and conservation schemes.

This budget not only impacts on Wales' natural heritage, but is significant for tourism as well. Can the budget be shared between Departments?
