just 12 months since reorganisation, and already making cuts to wildlife monitoring, I would doubt they will be undertaking this essential research "in house"

If we are to detect impacts on birds and biodiversity we need long-term data sets

Climate change is influencing sea temperature and food for these birds. We need to study how populations respond.

Long-term data, such as have been collected in the Skomer study, are critical to understanding the effects of environmental change on species and ecosystems. Please find the money somewhere to carry on supporting this vital work.
