As a club swim coach, I highly respect the impression that Frank has left on virtually all of our swimmers who chose to represent CHS during his tenure. Fix the flawed system. ✌️

As a 4 year member of Chatham swimming and captain during the 2016-2017 season, I can confidently say that my entire high school experience would not be the same without Coach D. He not only pushed us and made us better swimmers, but he gave guidance and advice that has stuck with me since I graduated. He made every swimmer on the team feel important and valued, regardless of skill level, and was always there for each student. This does not seem like a reason to lose that!

This is a travesty. This coach left a very positive impression on my daughter, who swam for CHS Class of 2014.

Coach D was the best coach I’ve ever had. He had a such a positive impact on my life and was always so supportive. He cares so much about this team and I hope the administration makes the right decision and brings him back.

As a former captain of the team, Coach D was hands down the best coach I have had the pleasure of swimming for. Coach was such an incredible presence for us as a team and for us as people too, even so that after I had graduated he still checked in to see how things were going. I was a swimmer for about 10 years and had many different coaches but no one was more enthusiastic, passionate, and truly caring than Coach D. Chatham High is making a huge mistake by doing this, and definitely won't see even close to the same results that he brought in.

In my 12 years as a swimmer across multiple teams, Coach D has been the most inspirational and dedicated coach I've ever had. He genuinely cares so deeply about each of his swimmers, both in and out of the pool. Coach D struck a perfect balance between maintaining a top tier swimming program, while also ensuring that all of his swimmers get equal racing time, regardless of speed. You will not find a more perfect fit for Chatham Swimming than Coach D.

Coach D completely changed my relationship with swimming for the better. Could not have imagined my high school swimming experience without him, and every other CHS swimmers deserves to have him as a coach. Amazing coach and person! This program would not be the same without him.

As a former captain I can wholeheartedly say that Coach D goes out of his way for every one of his athletes. He is vital to the program and the school’s decision needs to be corrected.

I am not on the Chatham Swim team, but I have seen the impact of Coach D. I know many people on the team and I’ve heard nothing but nice things about him. He seems to be such a good influence in the swimmers lives, which is amazing considering the short time frame he has with them. Bring Coach D back!

Coach D made Chatham Swimming the best atmosphere that any swimmer could ask for. As a member of his first freshman class at chatham high school in 2012 I can attest to everything that has been said in this petition and more. He made an amazing, inclusive environment for all and was there for me in my lowest of times in high school. My best high school memories are on this team and many because of Coach D. Thank you Coach D for being you.

He is a great, enthusiastic, empathetic leader as a swim coach and he wins too. He believes in each and everyone of his swimmers and helps them grow.
