Reinstate Fay Presto MIMC Back to The Magic Circle.

Fay Presto is a unique individual who is a n asset to The Magic Circle.

Faye is an amazing individual who’s helped so many budding magicians to be themselves and she’s a respected member of the magic community

An apology is all that was needed in this situation and a group of peers agreed that should be the matter closed please reconsider your decision

It is ridiculous that the Council of the Magic Circle should impose such an unnecessarily harsh sanction on one of their most famous members. I would urge the council members to reconsider this ill-advised decision.

Fays books on magic helped introduce an entire generation to the art form. After years of working in an office with lacklustre support, I understand that moment you reach when you suddenly snap and say, rather obscenely “enough is enough”. Fays positive contributions far out weigh her so called crime in this matter

I’ve always found Fay outgoing and helpful! Like most families we can all have a moment or two and this will only make us all and the circle only stronger with understanding as I’m sure Fay has already apologised!

I have come out of hiding on Shergar to put my support behind Fay and this outrageous one year ban.. I suggest you allow her back forthwith!!!

I have to admit I'm horrified at the Magic Circles actions in dealing with Fay Presto. Fay's name has become synonymous with, what was until now, a magic club revered by many smaller cubs. I think this latest course of actions will send shock waves through the community and severely loosen the bedrock The Circle is built upon. Shame on you, you reap what you sow.

Fay has done more to help The Magic Circle, it's members and Magic in general than anyone I knowm

This seems ridiculous. An outburst of a member deserves a ban? You ignore your own panel recommendation?

The decision is completely and utterly disproportionate to such a laughingly trivial matter. This does not in any way reflect badly on anyone except the Council themselves.

sad that common sense has been thrown out the window , to not be gracious after all attempts of apologies is just plane unprofessional an annoying attitude in this day and age when forgiveness and encouragement should be at the forefront of such a prominent organisation . Forgive and forget and move on , magic needs great performers like Fay

Fay is, quite simply, the best close up magician of all time. For her to be excluded is an utter travesty.

This is insanity

Everybody has lost their temper at some point and said things they later regretted. All you can do is apologize and learn from the experience. I feel that the punishment was too severe.

I seriously think this has been taken too far

I have been a magician for over 20 years and although I know the magic circle has strict rules I feel they have gone over the top in regards to Fay presto. She’s an internationally respected magician and is at the very top of her profession. I understand that she has made comments in the heat of the moment, but a years ban is completely unnecessary. I would urge the committee to reconsider their ban and reinstate her. Fay has publicly apologised and I for one will write a statement to support her. Please just reconsider your decision. Thank you.
