Reinstate Fay Presto MIMC Back to The Magic Circle.

The actions taken by the magic circle against Fay Presto is in my opinion way over the top and totally unnecessary and unprofessional, especially as we are supposed to be brothers and sisters of magic

Please reinstate Fay. Mistakes happen. She has admitted that. The circle will be a much sadder place without Fay in it.

If you disagree with actions or words, you speak to the person in question, not go crying to the 'Head Master', only going that high if it is detrimental to the club/organization. I understand Council's frustration with Fay's outburst, but I think this ban is going too far. I recall the incident from 12 years ago, and I think that was also unjust. I'm not sure this petition, with its many fake names, will do much good, but I would like to show my support.

The purpose of an independent disciplinary panel is to avoid potential miscarriages of justice such as this one may be. Council should accept the findings of the independent review panel. I assume those on the independent review panel have now resigned (from the panel) as a consequence of being overruled ? I have been on a similar disciplinary panel where our unanimous decision was overruled by the equivalent council and I immediately resigned from the panel (although not from the organisation). What is the point of setting up an independent procedure and then overruling it ?

The Council should urgently reconsider its allegedly unlawful actions. The Statute of Limitations in the UK is seven years so is the Magic Circle Council dragging up a disciplinary letter 12 years old. Fay Prestos' Human Rights Art 8 and Art 10 are being compromised.

Absolutely bloody ridiculous of TMC. Definitely not proud to call myself a member right now.

Fay is a Magic Entertainer She should be allowed back

This decision must be overturned Fay has made a huge contribution to magic in this country. She should be celebrated not banned.

Please re-estate Fay.

I know nothing of what went on, but I know how big an influence Fay has had on my love of magic and how generous she’s been with sharing her knowledge and encouraging others. I’d be very disappointed to find that an organisation which represents magic across the world couldn’t find a better way to mend relations.

Reinstate Faye and stop obstructing one of the most talented performers I have ever known! You should be proud to have her as a member and in a Council Position! Grow up TMC!
