Who is Tony Rome anyway?

The vice president of the Magic Circle is a woman and won her position by quite a lot of votes. The secretary is female too. Fay was extremely abusive after multiple warnings and so has been banned. Ask someone to send you the official statement from the Magic Circle council so you can see what actually happpened.

It's a pathetic organization filled with old white men..,like most magic "clubs" their unwritten rule of "no girls allowed" is still enforced through selective banning. Should day have made her pearl-clutching outburst, causing delicate members to get the vapors? Probably not. But is it worth a lifetime ban? Probably not.

Of course Fay Presto should be allowed to swear and verbally assault the public and staff wherever she deems is privileged to annoint with her mere pre-prescence, let an extended second of two where you may touch the tip of her vail. She is Fay and immune to all sensible standards of behaviour and rules. This snowflake generation needs to grow a pair and let granny power take over and abuse whoever she wishes! Jeeze.

All sounds very unfair

I appreciate Fay made an outburst coursing a disruption but she is an inspiration to the magic community and deserves no more that what an independent body has stated.

Fay was really supportive and a great teacher when I joined as an apprentice. She is also a great role model for many. Please change this unfair decision.

This is an absolute joke! How come someone is so envy to get rid of one of the best magician and performer ! Magic circle should be proud she even wants to be a member ! What a joke!! Looks like magic circle Is going to be a shame :( Please don’t let her be out! She represents the best people in the world . Who is responsible for all this non sense ????? Who ever wants her to be out should not even be a member as this will make people stay away from the magic circle . What a nonsense !!!!!!!! Why people must ruin everything what is so fabulous the best ? Fay is the master of the masters !!!!!!!!

This is terrible. Fay Presto is a passionate, caring and professional individual. The Magic Circle are being very unfair.

Yes I hope for her

I am an on and off member of the Magic Circle since 18 years (depending on when I'm in the UK) and one of the main reasons to visit TMC is the hope to bump in to Fay Presto. She is an amazing performer and a very generous human. When I first joined TMC as a young Swede in London, she was one of few people who made me feel welcome and introduced me to others and this still means something to me now 18 years later. Once I missed my train back to London from the IBM convention in Southport and Fay gave me a ride all the way home (this was before we knew each other, or I guess that 4h drive is when we got to know each other). I hope TMC realises that they are banning one of the few, main people there who actually take in young magicians, help them, and make them feel welcome. To loose her is a huge blow to the place. All this because of an outburst which it is insane to judge without taking into account decades of prejudice and bullying she has had to stand for being a woman, from old members with a 19th century world view. Please TMC, start moving towards the 21st century.
