We, the citizens of the town of Mandeni Ward 3, Padianagar and surrounding areas petition the Ilembe District Municipality and the local Mandeni Municipality to:
- reinstate roads that are deteriorating
- to improve the frequent water interruptions
- due to the pipeline construction, roads have been dug up causing community frustration.
- to repair street lights that are not working
- to clear out overgrown verges
- to remove stray animals in and around the community
- to improve poor stormwater drainage systems
- to assist with sewer/water tariffs.
We request both municipalities to give us time frames in addressing the concerns of our community.

The scale of this response is sufficient to move the issue into formal proceedings with the district leadership. I have requested a direct meeting with the municipal manager to present these grievances and demand a written timeline for infrastructure repairs.

The roads are disgraceful. And its all over. Plover, on the way to Mandini Academy, Spar etc. Some places you need a 4x4 :-(
The state of the roads are in such disrepair. It is hard to know where the drive. The unnecessary wear and tear on our vehicles caused by pot holes is unbelievable. It is disheartening that we have a municipality that cares so little. Shameful

The water and electricity amounts are terrible. My wish for all is paymeters.
Our roads in Mandini are disgusting. Where is the money going that you people got to fix the roads. How about some honesty for a change.!

I need Prepaid Water Meters to be continuously working, a new service provider may be needed cause i believe the old and existing Prepaid Meters cannot be repaired. Potholes need to be repaired.
