I don't know if these coaches get paid, but it seems counter productive to kick out volunteer coaches. He seems to be good with the kids and respected by the players and parents. Let the volunteer coach coach

Disappointing to see this type of decision making in a middle school basketball league. This is an example of an even bigger problem that is affecting Frederick County athletics. In the end, the true victims are the children. When decisions are made to dismiss coaches in this manner, it sends a message to the children that adults are not capable of amicably resolving their problems, even in a low profile situation such as middle school basketball. Furthermore, this sets the overall basketball program back as there is an aura of negativity surrounding the league. Frederick is one of the fastest growing communities in Maryland and hopefully the community can unite to ensure that positivity, progress, and principles are at the foundation of this growth. Let's show these kids that we know how to resolve problems with respect and mutual considerations. After all, we are the adults and this is a team sport...

Shawn shows complete passion and dedication towards coaching and molding these kids into young men. He including all of the other coaches positively impact these kids tremendously. They should not by any means be robbed of such. Reinstate Shawn so that the focus can go back on the kids, where it belongs!
