Coach Rob is a good man and a good coach. He cares very much about our kids which is why the ref's flagrant disregard for our children's safety upset him so bad. The board should be ashamed to impose this suspension. Rob didn't care about the score he cared about the kids and what was right. You should do the same.

It seems that the refs should be removed since they can’t seem to make fair calls on BOTH teams and this situation wouldn’t have ever happened. Our boys need positive role models who stand up for what they believe in this coach
gives them self confidence, courage, & integrity. Look at the biased refs and get them out for once & for all. Show the kids that you will not tolerate the bias just like coach did.

Rules are rules. I get that! But to change your mind about a rule is unfair especially when you didn’t even give the man a chance to speak for himself! Do I agree with the language or gestures? No I don’t! But do I believe in a man standing up for his players? Yes I do. 1 game is plenty suspension and punishment! I know the man personally and have coached with him and know his passion for the game and most importantly for the kids! If he was a repeat offender I could see or maybe understand the year suspension. But he has been nothing but good for those kids! Those kids respect him! I know this because I have witnessed it first hand! Let him serve his 1 game suspension and allow him to come back. If he doesn’t follow the rules then we understand. I have see and watched worse by other coaches and it was only a 1 game suspension. And those were racial slurs directly to the kid and if that didn’t deserve a rest of the year suspension this surly didn’t! #freerob

I'm not sure why, but every season the refs seem to have it in for us. We have witnessed this for almost a decade now. Can something be done? How about suspending the officials that refuse to make calls against teams playing West Stokes? I for one get very tired of having to overcome the other team and the refs. This is supposed to be about the kids, not personal vendettas

The suspension speaks volume for why Stokes and surrounding counties can’t get enough players to participate in our football programs. Who wants their kids to play knowing that it’s gonna be one sided and their kids will get hurt as a result, and that’s exactly what would have happened if Coach had not slowed their roll to make them think. He doesn’t deserve this and neither does our team. It’s ludicrous!!
