Coach Rob has been an incredible positive influence in my son’s life. My son has learned so much from Coach Rob. He has always been kind with his words and has always positively influenced Bryce in ways no other coach from any other organization has. I am at a loss for words with the actions the foothills organization has placed upon such an upstanding man. The actions of the parents where directly influenced by the refs actions. To make calls for one team and completely overlook the same call for the other team is obscured. For the refs to allow face masks call on the other team to be overlooked and risk our children’s safety is ridiculous. At some point, we the parents had had enough. It was not coach Rob who incicited the crowd, it was the unruly play calling. All I’m asking as a parent is to not have to explain to my son that his coach will no longer be there for standing up for what he believes in. I stand behind coach 100%. One week suspension is enough but not the rest of the year. He is such a great man. There are so many young men out on the prowlers field who are without positive male role models and for this to be ripped away from them is sad. Please consider reversing this bad decision and consider the consequences it places on these young boys.

I’ve known Coach Rob for many years. He is an exceptional example of what passion for our youth looks like. I’m amazed that the numerous hours of service and love he has shown kids in his volunteer hours of coaching has been negated by a specifically highlighted moment that does not represent his true character. I’m so saddened to see an organization not use moments to celebrate fine young men, like Coach Rob. I would humbly ask that this organization reconsider your decision.

Rob is a very dedicated coach. My oldest son loved going to every practice and game because of him. He loves those boys and treats them all as his own.

I have known Coach Rob for at least 7 yrs. he as always been a coach. He has the kids best interest and will watch out for each and every one of them.

His suspension covers three practices and one game which is one week for us . According to the NCHSAA rules one week is enough for an ejection so the extra punishment is coming solely from FYAL board which is their call I guess but doesn’t match their discipline on other ejections in the past . He was arguing with officials not children or parents and no threats were made . The kids and parents love their coach and he should not be suspended beyond the week long suspension.
