I understand the need to distance the school from potential liability, however, the coach is entitled to due process. A thorough investigation should have been performed before his termination. Please correct this grievous error.

I’m a Hayward High School alum c/o 2013. I had the pleasure of knowing Coach Redemer as my English teacher, as a coach when I was in HHS’s Track & Field program and best of all I got to know him as a person. My older brother, Pasi Toki, is also apart of HHS football coaching staff and has gotten the opportunity to know Redemer as a person also. There was a time when my brother was struggling and Coach Redemer went above and above to help him out of that situation. I can go on and on for days about this mans Character and the amount of integrity he holds. He goes above and beyond the duties of a teacher and a coach to make sure that his students/athletes get the most of their HS experience. He genuinely cares about people and that’s exactly the type of person I would want teaching and coaching my kids. Love you coach! Stay up

Coach Redemer was one of the only people who helped me to be confident in myself. Playing football with him, he saw potential that I myself didn't see. He doesn't deserve what he's getting after putting his all into the Hayward High football team.
