While Coach Corbett isn’t my coach and I don’t know the error that was made. I do know the impact and difference a coach can make. Coach Corbett has done just that with his student athletes. I’m sure there were plenty of opportunities that were offered they could have chosen to further their athletic and academic career, but they chose Missouri Valley and Coach Corbett. That shouldn’t be taken lightly. I pray that the error made would not interfere with a night they will remember for the rest of their life! Coach Corbett has invested in and believed in these athletes and he deserves at the very least to be there to celebrate them and encourage them in their next chapter of life. This decision doesn’t only affect Coach Corbett, but the whole Missouri Valley wrestling team and community. They started it together and should have the opportunity to finish it together!

Let these young ladies have their head coach in their corner for their senior night on February 11th and the remainder of the season. As a former athlete I know the feeling of not having my head coach in my corner on a very important day, as well as in the practice room. Coach Corbett is an honorable man and that is well known throughout the Missouri Valley Campus and the families of his athletes.
