Rob Compton is one of the most encouraging coaches out there who's not just thinking about winning games, but thinking what he can do to make his players better. Having him as an AAU coach he has made an impact on me, he's reminded me on why I love the game. He truly cares about his players & their parents not just on the court but off the court as well. I would be speechless if he were not nominated coach of the boys basketball team.

You Sir are brilliant. You not only admited to being "Anonymous", but you showed how moronic you really are. You refuse to have a conversation on an intulectual level, but you revert to challenging anyone who doesn't agree with you to fisticuffs.

I said I wasn't going to comment so this will be my last. My mission was accomplished...he's out. I am posting this publicly and calling you out. You want to play lets play man to man. I am willing to back up all of my actions and statements but you Mr. Administrator continue to hide behind the name administrator. You want some it's free come get some bitch. Whoever and how ever many of you there are....I'll be waiting with bells on. Btw I am not signing this petition for his reinstatement like this comment leads you to believe.

Not only did I not assume you were Mr. Anonymous, I never insinuated it. That being said, you seem to be incredibly irrate about me calling Mr. Anonymous a sheep. You are either him, or good friends with him. Seems fishy if you are indeed not him. Baaaaaa

I've had the privilege to be an assistant coach at L.U. a few years ago. Rob was on the coaching staff at that time also. Rob is dedicated to teaching the game of basketball. Rob definitely knows the X's and O's of the game. I do not know the reason why his contract was not renewed but I do know that L.U. made one HUGE MISTAKE.
If I had a son, I would love to have Rob coach my son.
I can only imagine the politics involved in this decision.

This petition was brought to my attention this evening and in the petition comments Mr. Administrator...you are insinuating that I am Mr. Anonymous. I am not. But since you are obviously a little thick headed...if I wanted to remain anonymous I would not have went to the LU School Board meeting and spoke my peace. So since you say I am a coward and a sheep the ball is in your court punk. I will not respond to you any further on this ridiculous petition. If you want to see the coward you think I am please please please come see me I am always available for people like you. Another words bring it please.

Mr Anonymous... I refuse to keep slander and unsubstantiated "facts" on this petition. This is a petition to show the support for Rob Compton. If you don't support him... That's okay... But don't hide behind Executive Session and the user name "anonymous" . You are a sheep Sir. You claim that people "should talk to your face" or "come see you in person" but you are a coward who doesn't make his thoughts known... And then brags about what you did.
What are you and your son going to do after Rob gets renewed as LU Boys Varsity Basketball Coach? Not play...?

this is Rob Comptons niece I have seen my Uncle dedicate his life to these boy, the boys aren't just players he coaches but young boys he helps lead into the right direction to be a young and intelligent young man! My Uncle Rob loves the game of basketball and these boys he deserves this position more than anyone ! Please resign him as being the LU boys basketball coach

To be honest, I don't know Rob that well personally, but have seen the results on the court the last couple of years and was looking forward to seeing how he moves the LU program forward in the future. Seems like a questionable move by the school board that wasn't based solely on his coaching abilities or results.

i played college basketball and have been around basketball my entire life. Rob is an excellent coach and has an amazing understanding of what a basketball team should be and always has the boys best interest in mind.
