I've seen too many heavy vehicles in the area and the risks the students are taking to cross the roads around the school. What will it take for the minister to take notice and reverse this ridiculous decision that the area is safe. I'd hate to think….

It's not rocket science to understand the very real dangers that are present for the children of Magdalene High School. The traffic conditions are unique to this school given its location within an industrial area. There are no footpaths anywhere around the school nor are there any pedestrian crossings. I challenge any minister to come to the school one morning and see for themselves the risks these children are forced to take every single day!!

All students have the right to travel to and from school safely. All Magdalene students should be eligible for free bus travel due to the location of the school and the inherent dangers.

The safety of our children should come first. All Magdalene students should be eligible for bus passes given the schools location in an industrial area.
