Reinstate Ashley Behrens as Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter Director

She has done a wonderful job...you need to keep your good employees

Ashley was so wonderful. I adopted a Blind, Shiz zu from Brookhaven Shelter. Her love and concern for (Damien) now named Buddy's life was overwhelming. She has done amazing and you should do whatever you have to do to get her back, asap.

The Drs office I worked in 2017 adopted animal shelters in December 2017. The town of Islip and the town of Brookhaven. Both were incredible. However Ashley made it so easy to receive a room full of donations and to appreciate all we did. She has done an amazing job. Please do everything you can to keep her.

I am in Ohio, but ran across Jalepenos page a year ago. Her and all the dogs look so well cared for and loved. It has to be because of the director, please bring her back

Please reinstate her ...

Why in the world would you get rid of such an asset to the shelter. I’m a business owner and she’s the type of employee you absolutely want working for you. Please reinstate her ASAP. The shelter needs her as well as the animals.

Reinstate Ashley, she was doing an amazing jo. She is a great leader and asset and deserves to stay on with the shelter.

I met Ashley very nice lady I look for peoples lost pet she took the time to walk me threw the kennel

Please reinstate Ashley Behrens as Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter Director. She has dedicated her life to running the facility and loves her work. She has done an amazing job at ensuring the shelter's progress and success.

Ashley was the best thing to happen to this shelter.I hope she comes back.

Please come back, Ashley!

The animals will sadly be the ones that suffer. I do not know Ashley personally but read so many wonderful things about her and her caring nature and what she has done to turn that shelter around. It is an absolute disservice to everyone and mostly the animals if you cannot find a way to keep Ashley as the director!

I request Ms. Behrens be reinstated as Brookhaven Animal Shelter Director, and Mr. Edward Romaine, Brookhaven Town Supervisor, reject her resignation effective immediately so that our town shelter can return to the great safe haven we've come to love.

Our family has adopted 2 wonderful dogs from the Brookhaven Animal Shelter. It was by far the best one we had been to.

Bring Ashley back we need her in our shelter.she is the voice of the babies at the shelter.there is no one that does the job like her.
