Reinstate Ashley Behrens as Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter Director

Mrs Behrens has done amazing things with the shelter since she has been working there. She has brought awareness to adopting pets, raised funds to help the needs of animals in the shelters and so much more. Her love and passion to save these animals goes above and beyond.

Reinstate Ashley Behrens!!!

Please reinstate ashley, she has done wonders at our shelter and got rid of the stereotype that alot of shelters have

please reinstate!

Please think about what is best for the animals. Ashley has done a great job for them.

I am the President of an animal rescue. When I go to this shelter, Ashley ALWAYS has time for me. She would advise me of animals and help me find a good fit for our rescue. She was there on weekends, and I remember her telling me she wanted to help "during the busiest times". She CARES about the animals and takes her position seriously. Ashley knows how to work with people and people know she is trustworthy and honest. So many good things have come about at Brookhaven Animal Shelter because of the hard work and dedication of Ashley Behrens. We must not allow bureaucracy taint a woman who CARES about the innocent creatures in her care, as well as people in her township.

Running a shelter is a difficult job and to do it properly a certain type of experience is needed, not all people can fill these shoes. Please keep staff that has proven to be excellent, not everything can do as good a job as Ashley.

This is a complete disservice to the animals of Brookhaven. It’s clear that Ashley has made great strides in making the shelter what it is today. It’d be a complete shame and waste of taxpayer dollars and resources to allow it to regress to the depressing institution it once was. Please bring Ashley back!

Ashley has done an outstanding job as the director of the Brookhaven Animal Shelter. She truly cares about the well being of the animals , co workers, volunteers, and the people who adopt them. Please reinstate her immediately!

We need compassionate people in animal shelters. She has done a great job thus far. Please reinstate her.

Please reinstate Ashley! She has done an amazing job with the shelter and had such an amazing rapport with the public! No one can replace what she did!

PLEASE reinstate Ashley! She has done such an amazing job - 5 years is proof that no one can do the job better! Ashley has done so much and has given so much for BAS - PLEASE PLEASE reinstate her!

We need some one that cares about the animals In this position

Heard from other people she did a great job .

Please consider reinstating her because she is a viable asset to managing these workers, volunteers and most importantly The Animals at the shelter.

Ashley should be reinstated because she has done a fantastic job saving these lost souls that the dregs of society dump on the street like garbage as well as saving the town Plenty of money at the same time!! DONT BE STUPID: REINSTATE ASHLEY IMMEDIATELY!!

please bring Ashley back!

.

Ashley has been loved by all who have dealt with her at the Shelter. A woman comes in, doesn't want to follow the rules by filling out the "paper work" that is the rules of the Town of Brookhaven..becomes argumentative and Ashley, tries to uphold the Town's Rules, and ASHLEY IS ON THE BRINK OF BEING FIRED! DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!!!!!!

Please reinstate Ashley Behrens as shelter director at Brookhaven. I have been visiting the shelter over 35 years as a rescue volunteer for League for Animal Protection, Afghan Hound rescue and Last Hope Animal Rescue, and with my class as an elementary school teacher in a Brookhaven town district. She by far has done the best managing your facility. It is a difficult job, and Ashley understands the big picture of how municipal shelters should operate.
