What's WRONG with people who assail the special ones who care for our pets? REINSTATE ASHLEY.

I have known Ashley since High School. She is nothing but kind and good-natured. We have brought in many animals to this clinic and her and her staff have been nothing short of wonderful. Ashley BELONGS at Brookhaven Animal Shelter. It's a better place with her there.

Ashley LIVES to help animals. She deserves not only her job back but the right to do what she loves and clear her good name. I can attest to the fact that she was born to do this job.

I am a resident of Brookhaven (Sound Beach) an owner of two dogs and five cats (all rescue animals). Ashley Behrens is a kind and compassionate animal lover and a great manager. Give her back her job!

I have volunteered at the shelter for over 5 years. Ashley is truly compassionate but firm when needed. She has developed her team as well as the volunteers in being better caregivers to the animals at BAS. I have witnessed her in discussion with adopters and its always been helpful. She always gave of herself and we knew it! We have been very lucky to have her as a Director. I'm so very worried what the future may hold moving forward without her. Please reinstate Ashley.

There are too few people in this world that work as tirelessly or as diligently in the support of animals as Ashley. Please reinstate her immediately.

Please stop rewarding the behavior of people who resort to violence to evade normal procedures like paperwork. Absolutely disgusted with the Town of Brookhaven.
