Reinstate Ashley Behrens as Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter Director

Anyone can apply for a job show up and do the job. But when the job requires more then just showing up its important we do everything in our power to make sure that we keep that individual at any cost for the dedication they bring with them and how they move above and beyond the call of duty to protect and love the animals they are responsible for. Ashley Behrens is that person who is beyond exceptional when it comes to the job at hand. Now it's our job to make sure she is back at the helm doing what others fall short of.

Reinstate Ashley Behrens please.

She did such amazing things for the animals, she was their voice, get her back to her position

She’s perfect for the job

Please do the right thing and reinstate Mrs. Behrens. The public never knows all the details but from what I have learned, she did nothing to warrant this treatment. She was on the Job protecting animals and following rules. I could be mistaken but isn't that what she was doing? Shame on the town for treating a champion of animals this way. I would ask respectfully that this matter is reconsidered and justice served.

It has taken YEARS to get the right person to run this shelter. It has always been corrupt and a person such as Ashley has done the opposite to turn this shelter around. It is a deservice to the Town and all of the animals that are in the shelter to not have her continue to make the progress that the shelter has SO desperately needed!!!

I am a customer of this shelter and I worry about the care the animals get. I must say the shelter is much better XT hand it was years ago

Please.,.,..

Ashley needs to be reinstated. She has done an outstanding job and she really cares about all the fur babies at the shelter.

We should do anything possible to protect animals.

It would be a travesty to allow this remarkable woman to leave. The town MUST act to remedy this and get Ms. Behrens back to her position immediately.

always let the good go

Ashley is wonderful person and animal lover)

I am a Brookhaven town resident and solid supporter of all the good things Ashley has done for the shelter. Please bring her back. We need her and the animals need her more!!
