This is a travesty and should be righted. Andrew has helped me and the community on several projects and has always shown commitment and professionalism at all times.

Having worked for Havering Council for the last 4 years and as a Dagenham resident I truly appreciate all the hard work and effort that Cllr Curtin does for Havering and raising its profile of Culture services.

I am proud to support this petition. Cllr Curtin is an inspirational Cllr and deserves the opportunity to stand for his party again! Shameful to deselect him!

As president of Havering Sports I have worked on many projects with Andrew Curtin & have always found that he is extremely enthusiastic in everything he does, he attends many events, mostly outside of normal working hours, is an articulate speaker & gives generously of his time. He is a great supporter & worker for the local sports community & other local people tell me that he is just as supportive of the arts, libraries, music & open spaces. He would be a great loss to the local community

Councillor Curtin should be re-instated immediately. As a Havering resident I strongly disagree with decision to de-select a popular Councillor who is decent, hard working and cares about this Borough

A more honest, hard-working, community spirited person would be hard to find.

Andrew Curtin is about the only civilised member of Havering Council, irrespective of party. He should be reinstated on the Conservative list immediately.

What a way to treat someone who so selflessly gives to the community over such a long period.

There is a certain aroma in the Romford Conservative Party at the moment. In some ways I think Andrew Curtin is well out of it, but Romford is the loser here. His legacy for the borough will endure long after Andrew Rosindell has been forgotten. Can we have a petition to deselect him, instead, please?

With all that Andrew does for and with the local community and its heritage, it would be a crime to lose such awareness and support in Havering. We need that kind of support and awareness. Do sincerely hope this petition is 100% successful.

I am totally disgusted with the way Andrew Curtin has been treated and agree that he should be reinstated. He contributes a lot to the local community and is hard working and dedicated to many causes. Think again the powers that be!!

I completely agree, can someone at Havering Council please explain why somebody with so much experience and a proven track record has been deselected. Not only is this a loss for the local Conservative party but a loss for Havering Council. Instances such as this are causing people to disengage and lose their faith in politicians.

To deselect such a kind caring and capable person as Andrew Curtin is to deprive the whole borough of one who gives so much to so may groups of thinking intelligent people. He has been insulted and I feel the same hurt.. Bring him back to full engagement in Havering as he is very much needed. Whoever deselected him must be mad.

Andrew has always been a hard working and approachable councillor within the community and especially in his role as Member for Culture. I am at a loss to understand why he has been de-selected and would wholly support and strongly support his re-instatement
