Reinstate Alex Gale as Vermilion Regional Airport Manager

What kind of crazy people did this ?? Her credentials and work record are beyond reproach.

If it wasn't for Alex, I probably wouldn't be familiar with the Vermilion Regional Airport at all as a resident of Champaign County working in Danville multiple days a week. Under Alex's guidance, the airport was a fast friend to me in efforts to revitalize and build awareness of The Salvation Army's long standing history in Danville and current programs for those in need.. Since meeting Alex and touring the facility, I have supported airport events and even hosted an event on site to give respect to the grounds and promote the space, always impressed by Alex; a graceful, strong leader in the community. I am saddened by what is happening for her and for the airport - Its tough to find great Directors! As we continue to elevate Danville amongst high poverty, increasing inflation, crime, and years of continued mass exodus, I personally feel that removing a well loved, respected Director from a job in Danville is a mistake. She is certainly worthy of counsel in areas of any misalignment, but I truly believe this will be more than Alex losing a job, from which she will no doubt recover quickly, this will be Danville's loss overall.

I would like to see Alex Gale keep her position. She has done better than anyone in promoting the airport and improving it... I hope the Board isn't setting the stage for a lawsuit the tax payers are going to have to pay to settle.

Things need to change

Never met someone so dedicated to their job. She takes that role personally and has totally turned DNV around. You lose her that airport will decline significantly

Alex gale is a dedicated, hard working and intelligent person and I believe she would be the ideal candidate for this position.

You can’t even give her a reason she was let go. Then you employ your who isn’t even from Vermilion County. It’s disgusting.

They wanted a friend in and the person does not live in Danville Il. They gave her no reason as to why she was suspended. This us underhanded and Malicious!! She was not written up nor did she sign anything! All underhanded just because someone wants someone else in that position!

Alex is a very bright and smart young lady.

I'm not too familiar with this situation, but do know I've heard of more happenings at the airport this last year than ever before.

I think the board is doing back door politicking which is bull release all information airport board be honest with us tax payers

Alex Gale is an incredible asset to the Danville community. She has been the best thing to happen to the Vermilion County Airport and should be reinstated immediately.

I'm have known Mrs. Gale free or almost 20 years and her father before her. That this beingnl fine is an affront to his legacy at the airport.

Alex has done a phenomenal job and this nonsense needs to be reversed.

She has done a wonderful job at getting the airport more involved with the community
