Reinstate Alex Gale as Vermilion Regional Airport Manager

Alex quickly created a positive community awareness of our airport. Please reinstate her as manager so positive momentum continues for our Vermilion County.

Reinstate Alex Gale! Explain your reason why was she told to resign?

My family had a hangar at the Vermilion Regional airport for almost 40 years. I noticed significant improvements in the last few years before ending our lease, the only reason we ended the lease is due to nobody in the family living in the area anymore and it was no longer needed. It sounds like the “good ol boys club” is at it again, what a shame.

Alex is passionate about aviation and wants to continue to do a great job for Vermilion County.

This seems like a story of someone challenging "the old boys club" and the status quo - due to the lack of transparency and information involved. Good for her in standing up for what is right!

Personally and professionally, Alex Gale has always been kind and respectful.

I'm not familiar with any details. All I can say is Alex's experience and accomplishments speak for itself. I believe she has made positive changes during her tenure.

Please reinstate Ms Alex. She is an asset to the airport and Vermilion county.

What the board is doing to Alex is so unfair. She is an asset to the airport and community and I hope she remains as manager.

Alex has always put her community first. She has made the changes necessary to be compliant with the regulations and rules of IDOT and the FAA. We are in the world of paperwork and documentation. Alex can do this for us. She is the future of our airport. We need to bring her back and allow her to do her job!!

No cause state or not I would want a solid explanation if I was let go. If one can not be found and she did a great job then reinstate her.

It would be ethical to provide a worker being let go with a legitimate reason and/or examples of why. If this is because there are ulterior motives that is an unprofessional and disappointing lack of character.

From what I have learned, Alex has done a marvelous job at the airport and should continue to do just that!!
