The County needs to be honest with the public about their intentions. Moreno was wrongfully let go. This should be about public safety, not ego and politics.

We are a long time resident of Plymouth and have known and had many an interaction with him over the decades. I believe this petition will show overwhelming support for him. Please revisit the decision.

Please keep Antonio Moreno. He is extremely detrimental to our community. What was done to him was devastatingly unfare.

I have lived in El Dorado and Amador county my whole life. Antonio Moreno is one of the reasons this county is such a fantastic place to live. You will not find many like him. I have never in my life witnessed so many people sharing stories of how one man has affected them and their families at some of the lowest moments of their lives. For almost 10 years now my family has been connected to Antonio Moreno through Volunteer firefighting and the deep respect that has grown out of watching him serve this county is never ending. He is more than a Firefighter to Amador County-he is a Hero. His deep compassion and respect for the people he serves shows in every single call he tirelessly attends. WE STAND WITH YOU Chief Moreno-there is nothing else that is acceptable at this point.

Ken and I fully back Antonio Moreno. He has done more to inspire the next generation of firefighters and EMTs. He knows our community and truly cares about it welfare. There is a confidence in the young firefighters and emt's that have learned from Antonio. His knowledge and care should not be dismissed. I am extremely upset that a man of such skill and character can be treated so callously. We meed Antonio back as Chief and who ever had the idea of letting him go needs a reprimand. We stand behind Antonio

On behalf of the Halbritter Family and Crain/Sleeper Ranch I would like to express our concern and disappointment with this decision. Antonio Moreno has personally responded each and every time a family member has needed help. He is the first to respond and arrives within minutes of a call being made. His professionalism and sincere love of his community has always been admired by our family. We respectfully request that he be ready assigned as his termination created a terrible loss for our community.

Antonio is my brother. The dedication and compassion he has shown in his 37 years of service to our communities is immeasurable. Please correct this wrong and reinstate him to his position as Battalion Chief.

On behalf of both the Cooper and Cheetham families, we're respectfully requesting reinstatement of Antonio's position as Battalion Chief. While his credentials and accolades tell the story of a remarkable career, equally as important are the stories told by the people for whom he has served and how his intimate knowledge of our community has been an immeasurable benefit for the last 37 years. The loss of his knowledge and leadership represents a loss to our community safety.

Please reinstate Antonio immediately. This community is so fortunate to have someone with his his expertise, professionalism and knowledge of the geography of the area and the wide expanse of his professional career and for you to just dismiss him without the thought of what the consequences to the community he serves is a serious disservice that puts life and property at risk. Antonio has responded to several emergency calls that I have had to make, some being life threatening, and he has always made bad situations better.
