Appalling decision which should be revoked
Immediately. Antonio Moreno is one of our finest, always willing to lend a helping hand. What is the fire board trying to hide now?

I am disgusted by what happened to Antonio. He has been an amazing asset to our community. If I have to call 911 I pray he’s the guy on scene. He’s kind and calming and was there for my family when we needed someone. He should be reinstated immediately.

Antonio Moreno is the most caring and dedicated man I know not only to his family but to every citizen he has come across. I have lived in this County for almost 40 years and have watched him train, support, lead and work in all aspects of fire service. I have personally worked with him on the department as well needed help myself.
Antonio definitely does NOT deserve this treatment and all involved should be ashamed of theIt behavior. I would like to respectfully request Antonio to be reinstated as soon as possible.

I remember when my husband was badly injured how the volunteer fire department came and rescued him and transported him to an ambulance. Mr. Moreno was in charge and organized the search and rescue. It has been 15 years, but I am truly thankful the quick professional response.

This firing of a county emergency employee is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes the dirty dealings of the Board of supervisors. And most of it going on in district 2. I for one am all for removing the entire BoS. I swear a bunch of juvenile monkeys could take of this county far better than the current leadership!

My dad was the volunteer fire chief
In Sutter Creek for many years - a volunteer for over 30. He was so upset when he heard about this. He doesn’t have Facebook so I’m signing for both of us. The volunteer departments in Amador County have saved countless lives and millions of dollars in property. They deserve a lot more respect and recognition. A big city fire chief does not belong in Amador County.

The community will be far worse off and not nearly as safe without fine men like Antonio volunteering their valuable time.

It's sad that that's the thanks he gets for 37 years of voluntarily hard working service for our community.
