24 years ago, I had the reassuring experience of having Antonio Moreno respond to an emergency with our infant son. His professionalism and command of the situation enabled us to remain calm. He is a true hero. Reinstate Antonio Moreno

It is my opinion that no one in the Amador Fire District has shown more leadership than Antonio Marino.

Volunteers are a big part of fire stations. What has been going on at AFPD is totally unacceptable and must be stopped! In house fighting and trying to take control of other city fire territories needs to be dealt with swiftly this can NOT continue!

Antonio Moreno responded to my family home many times to assist my elderly mother. I always knew she would be in good hands until I could get there. I know she would not have lived until age 91 if it weren't for Antonio as he knew her and her medical history well. She also knew she would be safe when Antonio, an always calming face, came through the door. We need MORE like him, not fewer.

Antonio is the face of calm and professionalism in very hard situations. How do you let a volunteer go?

Reinstate and Investigate.. Distracting a responder with a personnel matter while on an emergency call? Leadership?

Our family has had only a few emergencies in the last 30 years. Antonio has been a responder to all. His long service to the community is exemplary. Please reinstate him..

In 1992 I broke my femur bone. Antonio and the Plymouth volunteer fire department were the first to arrive, beating the closer and permanently manned CDF (now CalFire) station in River Pines. Antonio has been a dedicated member of our community serving our needs as a volunteer for as long as I can remember. I believe he's earned the right to have his voice heard as AFPD considers its future. Please reinstate Antonio.
