Please reinstate crossing person at Llanishen Fach primary school. It's our duty to keep our children safe at all times

Cardiff council needs to reconsider this decision, we need a lollipop man/lady. I use the crossing 6 times a day to go to the school, and every day it is getting harder to cross the road safely. This morning a large white lorry was parked over half the crossing making it impossible to see any traffic. Cars are often parked on double yellow lines and the bollard on the corner of Heol Isaf has been knocked over. This is also a bus route and it will only be a matter of time before an accident happens.

Really need to sort the illegal parking outside school before there is a serious incident. Parents should be more responsible & even better not use there 4x4 vehicles that they can't drive properly anyway. Damaged bollard corner of Heol I saw & Heol Uchaf is an example of what could happen to unsighted child. Sorry for the rant but this is a serious problem.

Busy roads outside schools require crossing assistants. Please help to keep our kids safe.

Every school has the right to a school crossing patrol person. Every child deserves to be safe. Totally ridiculous.

Please reconsider! the roads outside HLF school are so busy around collection and drop off times. Please don't wait for the next child fatality/ accident reports before changing your minds.

Why should the Council compromise safety of children? One accident will be too many!

Essential for children's safety on a busy road!

MY children attend the school and live 2 roads away, it is dangerous without a patrol! Children's safety must come first!! NOT BUDGETS!

cost cutting at its worst, it's a busy road this is just waiting for an accident to happen

At school start & finish times this crossing is invaluable given the poor visibility with parents parking on both sides of the road. This reduces the passing traffic to single lane causing a lot of impatient drivers. Another significant issue is the Appletree day nursery unit on the school site as non-school parents drive in through the Heol Uchaf entrance at various times throughout the school day.

It is vital that there is a proper school crossing at Llanishen Fach School. That road is extremely busy. It will only take an accident to happen for people to realise this. Do we want to wait for this to happen - NO!

The safety of the children is paramount!!, I'm quite sure it will cost the council a lot more when someone sues should there God forbid be an accident, sort it out Cardiff council

Our children's safety and paramount should have priority over other issues. We pay enough council tax but the important things are slowly being taken away. Keep our children safe, they are the future and are priceless.

I am a registered childminder and crossing 5 children with no crossing patrol and cars travelling very fast downhill, is an accident waiting to happen.
