Highland Bulldogs 11U Coach Jason Wuebbels was dismissed by the Highland Quarter Back Club Board apparently due to parent complaints about practices running over too often and not enough playing time. Coach Jason did an outstanding job last year with these players and made every effort to be fair, while still fielding a competitive team. According to several board members, all they have heard is complaints... nothing positive. They have indicated positive feedback would certainly make a difference. Please join our group of concerned parents petitioning the board to reinstate this dedicated coach for our boys last HQC Football year together before they move up to Middle School.

I am Dave Hartzog's step daughter and my son has played football since he was 5. Jason was one of his coaches. Dave and I NEVER had any issues with him. He put all his heart and soul into coaching our boys and it showed. How he was "let go or dismissed" wasn't right. There are so many different ways you could of done that but not in a benefit for the club not when someone is drinking. It goes to show how unprofessional you all really are. Instead of talking to him and giving him a chance to correct the issue at hand. You let him go. You should all review your policies and make changes. Jason is a great coach that puts his heart and soul into his team. You all made a huge mistake and you lost a great coach. If anyone needs to be let go it's Bulldog.
