Coach Thompson meant so much more to than just my coach. She taught me more than just cheer. She taught me about who I am as a person and who I want to be. She made my day brighter by just being in it. I am going into my senior year on the cheerleading team and can assure you that the loss of Coach Thompson will do nothing but hurt the attitudes of us on the team. She picked us up & made us want to be our very best. She was more than a coach, yet a mentor and a home away from home. We need her to be our very best and I will fight for that until the very end!

I can’t believe Mizzou fired both those dedicated women. Mizzou wants loyalty, well they need to give it as well. Give both those coaches their jobs back !!

I grew up in CoMo and stayed for college. The cheer squad AND the Golden Girls are equally incredibly important and shouldn’t be lumped together. I’m furious. Please reverse this terrible decision. It’s analogous to lumping football & basketball together under the same coach. Short-sighted. Missouri deserves better.
