My son cheered at MU & I see NO reason for her termination. Maybe they didn’t want to give her retirement benefits or something however, from what I’ve heard, the school hasn’t “restructured” (I’m not sure about that) but, it’s just wrong no matter how you look at it. Period.

Great mentor! No one loves the Tigers more than Suzy! It’s a shame and disgrace that university officials without lifelong ties to the university have fired her. Have not noticed National Championship Coaches at any other sports program at MU. Senseless maybe the wrong people were terminated.

Interacting with Coach Suzy as a member of Marching Mizzou has always been pleasant and she had always made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Even though she wasn’t our coach, members of the band love her dearly and to fire her like this is wrong.

Wow MU! A 25 year employee and you pull the rug out from her! I understand if you wanted to merge positions, but how you handled it was disgraceful and embarrassing to our community. MU what this shows to the community, current employees or prospect employees is that you truly don’t care or have any remorse. Longevity, retention or loyalty means absolutely nothing to University of Missouri. Rule of thumb, something to think about and remember... when trying to save a penny be very careful it doesn’t cost you a dollar...or a lot more! I know I’m reevaluating our donations for anything affiliated with Mizzou.
