I disagree with this petition. It is a public lake. No part of the lake is owned by anyone but the state. Common courtesy should be used by all boat owners and typically is. There will only be a bad apple somewhere but singling out airboats is not the answer. Airboat owners pay taxes just like every one else so they should be able to use the lake just like all other boat owners can.

It is so dumb that people complain about noise on the river. What about the barges? They are loud with bright lights. Well I don't like all the boat houses, they get in the way of my bowfishing but I'm not starting petitions to have them taken down. Thay is public property I can use it with my boat anytime I want to. That lake gets maintained by my tax.money so if you don't like me and my boat I sudjest you move back to the suburbs

We live in Roseberry (scottsboro) and it is annoying when you're trying to sleep with the bright lights shine In our home and the very loud noise of the boats. It used to be only occasionally but seems as though this sport has increased tremendously!

I am in California....dont turn Guntersville into California....if you dont like how some good people enjoy the lake you built on.....then move.Many of us are forced to fish at night because of disrespectful idiotic people during the day endangering our lives.

Bow fishing has been around longer than your big water edge houses.... Its like me living along 421 and petitioning the semi s to go around because of the noise.. Get a life and find something worth complaining about, like drinking on main street !!!!

Most people who own air boats only have them to have an edge on the competition in tournaments, not for recreation. The gas money it takes to pull them to a ramp then fish out of them is ridiculous. Most of the time you see an air boat or multiple air boats it's because there is a tournament comin up they are scouting for fish to shoot during the tournament, all tournaments have the airboat regulations yall are pushing for such as not allowing air boats in roseberry, the entrance to jones cove, and most places near boat houses. Everyone knows it's loud and they do try to be respectful as well as do well in the tournaments. Guntersville lake is one of the best lakes in the country for bowfishing and the amount of money it brings into our community because of tournaments should be reason enough for everyone to get over the noise that probably doesn't bother you that bad to begin with. I live on the lake and bowfish very often and as far as I can tell we are doing our lake Guntersville justice. THIS PETITION IS STUPID.

The entrance to Jones Cove is a red zone for bowfishing boats much less air boats and most all airboat owners respect that year round. I live on that road too- the closest an air boat will ever be to our home is 300 yards at the least. I haven't seen one air boat in the redone in 2 years

Roseberry is a red zone for tournaments for airboats and and body fishing the tournament I've never seen a airboat in there the only people that fish roseberry are doing it for recreational fun and beginners are you gonna try to band 14 year olds for bowfishing too?

If the air boats are going to be band then you should band every boat with dual exhaust. I can hear them all night long while I try to sleep also. I own an air boat and I have been on the water several times and had people tell they never could hear the boat on the water.

This is just fucking stupid shut this petition down now..go home and wipe your vaginas!! There are 20x more boating accidents and deaths from sea doo's bass fishing tournaments etc than from bowfishing. We are a danger to ourselves. .how the fucking do you figure that?? Let's cancel fourth of July too....the fireworks are violating my privacy!!!

The first paragraph says you "neither advocate nor oppose this sport". The next six paragraphs are completely against the sport.
