I have over the past 10 years been on this lake 100s of times, both for bass fishing and Bowfishing. These trips are for several days at a time and include lodging and food/fuel costs that add up into several thousands of dollars. Please keep in mind that if regulations are put in a single class of bowfisherman it will not do well for the economy of the small towns and business owners that rely on our money to keep them in business. The ridiculousness of some of these complaints ie; "dangerous lights", invasion of privacy, fish dumping, shows how desperate this petition is to back the complaints with facts. Mark my words, if there are irresponsible regulations placed to restrict Bowfishing, it is going to severely hinder the positive economical and ecological impacts that bowfishermen have on this impoundment. I live on Lake Guntersville. I don't mind these boats, even with their bright lights. I used to bowfish from trees. But their sound should be regulated. The ones with open exhaust are be far the loudest on the water, even in the middle of the night.

The stewards of team Nocturnal Madness would like to disagree with this petition. These fine stewards I speak of also clean up after the unsportsmanlike punks we have in the sport of Bowfishing.Yes that's right we have bad apples in this sport that disrespect and give all of us fine stewards a bad name but isn't that true with all sports? To say the lights we use to bowfish with is unsafe for us and all other boaters at night just proves to everyone that you've never really been on the lake at night.Running down the lake with your bowfishing lights on is 10x safer than a red and green nav light. In closing I'd like to say that Bowfishing is the fastest growing sport right now so no matter how many signatures u get there will be a lot more bowfishermen/stewards that spend their hard earned money on gas, food and lodging in jackson county just so they can bowfish lake guntersville and all the other good lakes in America.

Everybody wants to complain about airboat what about all these people who have all these big boats in a slip in goose pond or a couple other places that are up are 2 am and later with the music so loud that you can hear it from the river outside these places I guess that doesn't keep them up tho huh. If they ban airboats then they should ban these boats from using the water too cause they bother me when I'm trying to fish and can't talk to the person in the boat with me for the music and them all partying

These boats and their drivers have no respect for people who live on or around any of the waterways in Guntersville and Scottsboro area. They run these boats at all hours of the night with their bright halogens shining through bedroom windows. Have some respect for people!

This is stupid living on a recreational lake is like living next to a dragstrip or a hwy train tracks papermill anything like that it comes with noise you chose that place to live and it just happens the be one of the best bass fishing lakes and bowfishing lakes in the country so deal with the choice you made to have water front view hunters and fishermen are a be revenue for this area. I look down on the ones who dump the fish back into the lake it a lack of respect for the lake and people who use it but there's ass holes everywhere you go and in any sport you do.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. If you don't like the lights/noise, then move off the lake. You live on a sportsmans lake, if you don't like it.... Well then move. This lake is a great source for bass fishing, duck hunting, and bow-fishing. It's always been that way....and always will, but at any rate good luck with this going through.

As an FYI....we are not allowed to shoot game fish. Game fish includes bass....do your research before you make a stupid comment that others like me will see and call you out on.
