With the area being mountainous the sound carries which makes it a nuisance to all working residents.

With air boat owners showing so little respect for citizens, the State should out of decency set some regulations to protect the residents.

These boats are awful at night here at the City Park area..I live alone, and it's really scary when the boats come down the river banks flashing their lights all hrs of the night. The noise sounds like a jet plane.

I dont have a problem with bowfishing but I do have a problem with the loud airboats. They dont allow loud cars to drive through your neighborhood all hours of the night. Some areas jake brakes are not allow. If our vehicles can be regulated boats should be too.

It is impossible to not wake up at three in the morning when an airboat comes by. There is nowhere on guntersville that an airboat is necessary, so get a flat bottom to bow fish out of. Love bow fishing but hate airboats!

I am so tired of the lights and the noise. Thank you for starting this! Hopefully we can get some relief in the form of a little peace and quiet at night.

There needs to be regulations put on these types of boats. The constant weaving in and out of boathouse areas in the backwaters at 3am, engines roaring, props spinning, and lights blaring into our homes is unacceptable. Is a little common curtesy too much to ask? I am curious how many of these "fisherman" would delight in the residents of the lake coming to their streets with engines roaring, props spinning, and blaring lights into their homes at 3am? I would venture they would be indignant and intolerable with the mere suggestion.

I believe you or your group or grasping at straws. Your throwing too many things out there that you do not know about. What is it that you don't like, the lights? The noise? Or is it the fish dumping? What is it that you want to regulate? I think that before you try to regulate something, you should first educate yourself with what is really happening. Have you been on one of these airboats with the lights or are you guessing that it's dangerous? Do you know how many decibels are tolerable to your ears and at what distance should measure? Exactly who's safety are you concerned for? Again, I ask that your educate yourself in the sport before you go off half cocked. Work with your local bowfishing groups and clubs. I happen to know several of them in your area and they are all educated and responsible sportsmen that would be happy to work with you instead of against you.

These boats lights are particularly intrusive to my privacy both inside and outside of my house at night.

Due to noise of air-boats ,operation of air boats for fishing should be limited to daylight hours, same as duck hunters.
