Ask.fm is based out of eastern Europe and ANYONE can join into any conversation and say things like "you're a whore, you're fat and ugly and should kill yourself". Or ask your twelve year old, "are you a virgin?", "Have you ever seen a di*k?", "send me a selfie pic", etc. (these examples are taken from the actual site).
Other sites like Ask.fm include: keek.com, kik.com, vine.com, reddit.com, snapshat.com, pheed.com, wanelo.com, 4chan.com.
Sites like these need to be regulated and made available only to 18yo and up. Please sign this petition to voice your concern. The goal is 10,000 signatures so we can send this to state/ national legislator and get something done about this. Pass this on to others, your school, coaches, friends, etc.

Kik and the others are nothing but trouble. parents have no idea what their kids are actually seeing on these apps. about time someone looked into this

my daughter used to use ask.fm and the things people said to her were nightmare fuels. she deleted her account but the damage to her confidence was already done. shut these sites down
