The quality of Piedmont water is truly awful. I am surprised if it meets gov’t regulations. We are paying for water most of us won’t drink or use for cooking. Occasionally I’ve noticed a brown discoloration and odor in supposedly clean water. Yuck.

We paid < $150 per QUARTER when we lived in Northern Virginia--otherwise a very expensive area to live. Monopolies need to be regulated in those few cases [e.g., utilities] in which they are allowed to exist.
