Piedmont Water is out of control on rates and level of service. Must be regulated!

Piedmont H2O has got to lower its prices. They are robbing us blind and residents are sick of it!

They are not equipped to provide the basic necessity of water... most weekends the local residents with children go without water because piedmont water runs off of wells... Thanksgiving we went 2 days without water... they have dumped tens of thousands of gallons of raw sewage into the lake.... they have to be held accountable

There needs to be a review of the billing practices of Piedmont water and full transparency.

We can’t continue to expand with development and short term rentals with the current sewage situation in Putnam County.

So happy you are doing this. PW is the worst! Out for themselves, not the citizens of Greene and Putnam counties.

Horrible water! Horrible prices. Can't drink, can't run stainless steel dishwasher without ruining, stains, toilets, tubs, showers! Nasty

We have been here for a year now! We have struggled off and on with Piedmont Water! They are the only game in town- they know this and abuse their power! Really, regulations/ oversight board is needed!

Regulating water quality and egregious over-pricing of a monopoly held water utility seems like a no-brainer. Why has it taken Georgia legislators so long to wake up to this obvious failure of government to protect its citizens? Is it a brain problem, or has money changed hands to ensure freedom for robber barons to gouge and poison the public? We need answers to these questions, but first, we need decent oversight and regulation of an essential service like water.

It is hard to believe the state of Georgia is one of the few states that does not regulate water which is essential for life. Further, the monopoly enjoyed by Piedmont Water without any competition or regulation is allowed to charge ridiculous price for poor quality water and an inferior sewer system that constantly emits terrible smells.
