A small group of executives developed and signed an agreement with a formula for a monopoly company to use to justify hiking water rates for decades to come. Yes we could move, but it would be better for the State of Georgia to take a more responsive role to ensure that such "legal" practices are also reasonable.

No company should have that much control over someone’s lively hood. There needs to be competitors in the water business to push companies to do better and not be a dictatorship.

Unregulated monopolies harm consumers. Time to restore balance.

Need state government to get involved with regulating our water supply. The water quality is terrible and the expense is the highest I have ever paid for water.

I’m shocked to learn that this regulatory oversight is not already a Georgia law! It’s a minimal requirement for civilized life in the US.

It's hard to believe that such a reputable company Piedmont water cannot deliver high quality water and charge their customers the highest rate in the country.
