We the undersigned are tired of hamster costume designers discriminating against the differently-sized Dwarf Hamster, in favor of the privileged Syrian Hamster, long held as the standard of
cricetinae beauty by the unimaginative and hamsterphobic fashion industry.
Dwarf Hamsters have the same desires as hamsters of conventional beauty.
• They too, enjoy running on wheels.
• They too, enjoy eating their young.
• They too, enjoy sitting on wood chips and staring at things.
So why do hamster fashionistas persistently deny them the freedom to dress as dinosaurs on Halloween?
End the Petriarchy!
Demand that all hamsters be fairly and equally served by the people on Etsy who make outfits for rodents. Rise up on your hind legs and squeak for equality!
THERE IS ROOM IN THE HABITRAIL FOR ALL OF US
Sincerely,
Hamsters Of Every Size (H.O.E.S.)
this is a really important topic for me being an owner of a Chinese dwarf hamster myself. i was looking forward to this Halloween and being able to dress up my hamster for the joyase time. when i went to look for costumes, however, NONE could be found for my smaller hamster. this is an outrage. stop the discrimination
