I'm against the plans for building etc on the showground I think it would be better to keep the ground as it was for shows and speedway it would help the business around the area and bring back people to the city

Speedway as a sport as long been in the city and is a unique sport that very few cities have. It's now one of the very few events left in a city that is in serious decline for outdoor events

Utterly disgraceful that the cities most successful sports club has been forced out of their home of 53 years in the name of a housing estate with no planning permission.

I have seen peterborough lose the stock car track which was a massive shame the closest one is now kings lynn, I used to watch speedway religiously with my grand parents and I'm hoping I will be able to do the same when I'm lucky enough to be a grandad.

This is an outrageous plan that deprives our city of one of its most popular and successful sports clubs

53 years cannot be erased by greed and a misplaced policy to build on every green space we have in the city.

Been watching speedway in Peterborough for over 50 years. This is as important as Peterborough United to the city. We don't need more houses to put more pressure on our services. No more hotels either! Golf driving range failed before. Keep speedway at the showground. Great family sport and a place to make new friends. If this goes it will be a great loss to supporters and the city as a whole.
