Please let us keep the speedway here in Peterboroug....we have lost the showground

Been going for years as a family and made many friends at the Showground. We need speedway in Peterborough!

Long time follower

This sport should not be cast aside and allowed to sue just so more houses can be built. We need to be given our home back or be allocated a short alternative. This is a family sport of over 50 years in Peterborough and we miss it dearly.

Alternative site should be provided at the least rather than lose something I’ve followed and supported since it’s conception at the show ground. The city needs speedway, the greyhounds and major events like truckfest etc to bring in much needed revenue. Keep stripping the assets from city and it will be left a dull and baron place, come on the so called powers at be get your fingers out and actually do something positive to support the city.

Peterborough needs this - so do the fans.

The speedway is a joy to attend and is loved by 000's. It's a superb niche thing that Peterborough has to offer and a sport that the united Kingdom should hold onto with both hands.

Greedy people spring to mind with the counsel selling the land the speedway was there long before half of them voting were born

Keep speedway, alive and continue to provide good family entertainment

I'm not a speedway fan but I don't like the fact that this long established sport is being driven out of Peterborough by greedy people who have no regard for local peoples wishes.

Save Speedway. we do not need more houses on the show ground the roads can't cope as it is

I’ve been going to speedway for as long as I can remember Peterborough needs Speedway

The showground should remain as a green space for the people of Peterborough, promoting the events it has in the past. Truckfest, MCN National Rally, Caravan Club show. SPEEDWAY & the various other events held there

It is disgraceful that a successful sports team is being forced out of the city.

I live in Mablethorpe now so it’s around 150 mile round trip to see a “home” meeting but during the season we try to take in at least one match per month when we visit family members and friends who still live in the city. It’s left a huge gap in our lives since the stadium closed and we’d like nothing better than to have the panthers up and running again.

Stop driving out everything that is interesting within Peterborough!
