The council has behaved disgracefully over the east of England showground and the speedway. Residents loved the east of England showground, possibly not the new houses built up directly around but the entertainment area was there long before the houses. Learn from it and correct the mess that has been created!

People of Peterborough needs this it was such a great family event. It also helped me with my stress. The showground provided some many events all gone. We have already too many houses in Peterborough

A speedway supporter for 40 years, many trips to Peterborough, i lost my own team to a housing developer, 6 years later the site sits exactly as it was left in 2018, do not let Peterborough become another victim, there is demand for the sport.

The Showground site was the venue for many unique outdoor entertainment events of which speedway was the active resident member. The EOS served not only Peterborough, it was an irreplaceable assett to entertainment for the whole region. None of this and in particular the speedway should be forfeit for yet more housing and common place leisure facilities that can be easily found within reasonable travelling distance of Peterborough.
