Peterborough need Speedway!

Peterborough Speedway has been my second Speedway home for the last 36 years. I would love to see the Panthers back on track soon.

Peterborough Panthers Speedway should be brought back to the East of England Showground. The Speedway events bring many fans into the local area, supporting local businesses. It is appalling that ground where peoples ashes have been scattered has been removed.

Please bring back Speedway back to Peterborough

Speedway in Peterborough is important to keep as it brings money from visitors to the town. The Showground is exactly what it says on the tin and is for recreation and sport for the local area. Houses can be built else ware. As the current house builders have flouted the regulations they should be shown the door, but only after they have rebuilt the Speedway stadium back to its former glory.

Don’t let’s lose another track. Good luck Panthers.

Peterborough Speedway needs to be kept.

We can't let them take all the future Showground memories away from us.

Peterborough needs its speedway. Its a community hub and a very popular stadium

Peterborough Speedway has provided a major sport attraction for the local community, and also given the city national prominence for over 50 years. It needs to be protected and preserved.

No more houses in Peterborough. We need Speedway which is good family entertainment .

Speedway must be saved in Peterborough

I have been involved in the staging of several Major National Speedway events at the Showground, every one was successful, profitable and brought thousands of Speedway supporters to the Peterborough district. The decision to allow the proposed development must be carefully considered so that this sporting facility can be reinstated before any earth is broken for housing.

I believe speedway is an important amenity for Peterborough and one that should be kept at all costs.

There’s so much development land in the Peterborough area - surely this can be sorted

Peterborough needs speedway

Peterborough Panthers are an iconic team that deserve to be saved.

Great place to visit, and enjoyed the local pub too! The country needs speedway & can not survive on 'new build houses' alone - it is part of the community.

Peterborough speedway is a fantastic family place we loved to visit, and we need to keep this great sport alive!!!

Leicester speedway supporter. Do not want to see Peterborough without a team. Speedway is still a great sport
