As a retired teacher I am very aware of the consequences of large class sizes. The administration should address this issue immediately.

We all know the importance of small class sizes and that is the highlight of both districts. My question is why the board is making so many changes at the elementary level. All four elementary schools were functioning, well and in all of the meetings with Chris Leone before the vote to merge, gave the impression that the elementary schools would not have major changes. I suggest that the board focus on the middle and high school, which are merging and have the greatest changes. The board’s focus right now should be on those two schools. There is still a lot of work to be done especially at the high school level.

Increasing class sizes and decreasing support for our children is NOT an investment in the future. We need to make sure to invest in our children and their futures!

Region 20 is a waste of time and money and we need to go back to the way it was! It’s costing more money than we were promised to save

This reg 20 has been untruthful to all. The loss of some amazing teachers that will lose their jobs is unspeakable. And to keep some teachers who should be let go is unspeakable the only reason why is because they are tenor. Start thinking about the kids for once instead of the dollar. Reg 6 was doing perfectly fine without this merger. And to say nothing was going to change was the biggest lie ever. Our votes never counted it was fixed from the start. Cancel reg 20 and go back to normalcy. . I moved to a smaller town for a smaller school for a reason. Smaller class sizes are the best for all involved.
