Reform the broken Seattle / King County criminal justice system now!

Please help make this city safe again. Let’s keep ourselves, our friends, our coworkers, our neighbors, and our kids safe! This should be top priority!

Clean up this city!! It’s becoming New York City 1973, but with more human feces.

Something has to be done to keep vigilante justice out of equation.

I believe in fairness. However when all of the individuals involved had lengthy criminal records they should receive some type of punishment. It doesn't seem like they have served any time at all. Maybe they would have been rehabilitated by now preventing a death or their life long incarceration.

More police won't help if the City Attorney's office won't hold offenders accountable. Pete Holmes has been delinquent in his responsibilities to The citizens of Seattle & King County. Any offender must either be treated through drug rehabilitation until they are clean & free from their addiction or serve time in prison for their crimes. Holmes must be held accountable by the Mayor & County Executive who've been looking the other way while the area spirals into the gutter.

Something MUST be done to stop this. The citizens have the right to be able to walk down the streets of Seattle without the fear of being spat on, harasses or shot.

We can do better as a city

With zero leadership these are the consequences.

It’s pretty simple do what they do in Bellevue where they don’t have these problems!!!

I couldn't agree more! Watching our once beautiful city be taken over by criminals and turned into a pile of garbage and needles is an ongoing tragedy, which COULD and CAN and MUST be remedied!

Save our city. No safety = no businesses = no jobs = no future political career for the people responsible for killing what should be America’s next great city. I hope the mayor and city council realize that the ability to be out and about in this city without fear for one’s personal safety has been lost. Simply visiting the city of Seattle should not qualify as a “high-risk” activity.

I'm a 2nd gen Seattleite... I'm so sick and tired of our politicians lip service... time for action!! Heck, you can even jaywalk now without a look from a cop. What happened to Seattle's soul??

We pay the taxes and we want accountability from our elected officials.

Sentencing reform needs to happen NOW. Seattle is decades behind other cities with crime control.

To the city council...... You have tied the police hands Let them do their job And you do yours I am not happy with my mayor and my council. Way too liberal. There ARE bad people and mentally sick people in our world and we need to take a stronger position of control. It is about protecting our citizens, controlling criminals and getting REAL help for the mentally ill

Whatever is being done and has been done is not working. An open air drug market in the center of the city, where every tourist walks through it and in the center of our area of business and commerce is not acceptable. Please do your job!!
