As long as Seattlites keep electing Sawant and her ilk, nothing will change. The situation has to get a lot worse before there’ll be the collective will to change.

The governing authorities are no better than circus clowns and the mayor a buffoon.

There was a police shootout with drug dealer one block away from our conference room, belltown, same day as the mass shootout. Multiple release offender. We're fed up with our DA for King County. Let's vote to remove the DA and voters choose the DA, not the mayor. Seattle is getting dangerous and we're driving out small business owners we care most about with all the theft and decriminalization. Look at San Francisco crime levels. Our DA doesn't care.

Enforce existing gun laws, don't create new laws that will also be ignored by criminals.

Recidivism is a warning sign. There’s a drug, mental health or criminal at work. Treat what we can. Offer true detox that includes at least 3 months residential therapy. Find and staff qualified mental health therapists for, again, a residential therapy base. The criminals, find who wants a real good wage skill education, find those that want out of the life they have and help them. The rest, they are why we have penitentiaries.

I was a victim of an armed robbery committed by criminals with long records and in possession of several weapons. They should never have been out of prison at the time of the crime. I hope this petition forces our (sort of) elected officials to DO SOMETHING ABOUT CRIME!!!

The 4th thing we need is public officials with a modicum of common sense.

This nonsense must stop. People who commit crimes must be incarcerated and detoxed. Then given a choice to rehab or remain incarcerated. We’re spending millions on foolishness like tiny houses and clean needles instead of spending that money on incarcerations that either lead to rehabilitation and counseling and job training or incarceration to keep the public safe. Compassionate, Life giving, t’s proving to work in RI, Union Gospel and other missions have successful rehabilitation stories, come on Seattle. We can do this together. ❤️

By signing I do not, under any circumstances, advocate or support additional laws regulating the possession or use of firearms by citizens who are not felons or other criminals. We don’t need GUN control, we need protection from criminals, beyond the extent we as armed citizens can provide. The measures advocated for in this petition will work. Hand wringing and attacking the rights or behavior of those who legally and peacefully own firearms will not work.
